About
Led by Jillian Froehlich, The Froehlich Family supports art, culture, and community experiences that spark joy, promote health and bring people together.
Based in Orono, Minnesota, our family is drawn to places and events with good energy - spaces where curiosity is welcomed and a sense of belonging is encouraged. We believe the most meaningful experiences aren’t always the loudest or biggest; they’re often the more intimate ones designed with intention and a clear point of view.
On any given week, you’ll often find us exploring museums and galleries, attending performances and festivals, sharing a long meal and showing up for mission-led gatherings and volunteer events. If something encourages conversation, supports well-being or offers a fresh perspective, we’re paying attention.
At the heart of everything we do is a belief that wellness and culture shapes how we live - how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how kids learn what’s possible. We’re especially interested in innovative, entrepreneurial and athletic experiences that invite young people into the room and treat creativity and inclusion as essential. Movement is a critical part of that equation for us - because how we move through the world matters just as much as what we create.
Our support takes many forms: showing up, sharing platforms, collaborating with artists and organizers and amplifying work that reflects care for both people and place. We’re not interested in perfection or polish - we’re interested in work that feels human, grounded, restorative and worth gathering around.
If you’re building something meaningful, we’d love to learn more.
